My Dog Tucker
My dog Tucker is big and black
Four long legs and a swinging tail in back
He's got big brown eyes that see to your soul
A fine strong heart, he's as good as gold
He was a stray, that crossed our way
Where did he come from?
We don't know.
Does he miss where he's been?
Well, he won't say so.
He beat a retreat -- he took to the street.
Headed for the highway on his four-legged feet.
Just our luck -- to find a dog like Tuck.
My dog Tucker sometimes thinks he's a cat.
Plays mom to the kittens, well how about that?
He's the best babysitter, loves every kid
Finding our Tucker was the best thing we ever did.
He loves everybody, even robbers and thieves -
He'll do anything for you, without even a please
He does everything he should - He'd do your homework if he could -
He'll even eat it for you, if you ask him real good.
