fold-a-critter

Go back to try this at home

scraps

Just a reminder! Make sure that you are working near a wastebasket, and that you are throwing out your scraps as you go.

This way, your grownup will NOT be annoyed at the mess you are making - and will be a LOT more likely to say YES when you ask to do a project like this again!

It is SOOOOO much easier to throw your scraps out AS YOU GO ALONG than it is to clean EVERYTHING up at the end.

TRUST ME!

Tape the wings on. How cool does this bee look NOW?

He looks like he could actually start flying around, doesn't he?

two bees

Now he can join his friend. I made this first bee for practice, to learn how to do it so I could teach YOU how to do it.

Hmmm.... maybe now we need to figure out how to make a honeycomb....

double-sticky tape

One more thing: This is double-sticky tape. It's different from ordinary tape: it's sticky on both sides.

I used it to make these bees. It makes life a LOT easier for these kinds of projects. If you can get your grownup to get it for you, you will be very happy when you make things, once you get the hang of using it.
