hot dogs

At last: something NEW to do with hot dogs.

Fancy Hot Dogs with Veggies Sneaked In.

Note: If you're making this for a younger child -- like a toddler -- make sure you slice the hot dog into small enough pieces to avoid choking.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg of hot dogs
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 green or red pepper, diced
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, cubed

Directions:

Sauté onions  and pepper in pan. When onions are translucent,  add hot dogs sliced into inch-long pieces. Stir and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, cubed.  Simmer for another 5 or 10 minutes. Serve either by itself or over rice or noodles.
